We think the opportunities for evangelism and its success depend upon us, but it depends on God. So share the gospel without fear, knowing that the one in charge of every moment is God.

God can use us to help bring lost people to salvation and hope in Jesus Christ.  How?  By sharing how Jesus has changed and transformed your life.

How do you love and forgive someone who is purposefully and viciously hurting you? Only through the amazing, awe-inspiring, hate-melting, overcoming love of Jesus Christ. Stephen did it. And because of the Holy Spirit who lives in us, we can too.

Whatever our background is and whatever imperfections we might have, God can still use us to proclaim His good news. If we are willing, wherever we come from, God can empower us to bring glory to Him.

What can we learn from the early church, so that when we do face conflict, God is ultimately glorified and many more come to faith in Christ?

It’s only until you realize that Jesus Christ is so rare that His value cannot be determined—that’s when you will rejoice at the opportunity to sacrifice for Him.

Life with Christ isn’t something we can just add to the already-full buffet plate of our already-existing life. It’s something that turns our plate upside down and reorders all our priorities.

Peter is pointing out that Ananias had sinned against the Holy Spirit, not an impersonal force, but a person. When we speak of the Holy Spirit, we are speaking about the third person of the Trinity.

It is that confidence in Christ which drives us to do great things for Him because we know that it’s all God.  And when we have this boldness in Christ, we cry out to Him, “Help us to speak your words with boldness” and we say, “Bring it On!”

If the same Spirit who was with Peter and John at this moment dwells with us today, what is keeping us from proclaiming the Gospel boldly?
