Matt Dirks – 1 Corinthians 8:1-13: Paul addresses one group of believers, who considered the meat sacrificed to idols as nothing but food. While the other new and immature group of believers were troubled by it, and saw it as sinful. Paul calls the initial group to use their “knowledge” of the truth, to lovingly build the other group up. He called them to give up their rights to serve their weaker brother and sister.
