Psalm 15 – Aiming For Godliness
The one who lives blamelessly, practices righteousness, and acknowledges the truth in his heart. (Psalm 15:2)
David asked God a question that many Christians throughout the centuries has asked. Who can dwell and live with God? David answered this with three ways that will take all of us a lifetime to accomplish. The key to living these three ways of living blamelessly, practicing righteousness and acknowledging the truth in one’s heart can only be done by staying close and connected to God every moment of every day. These three ways encompass our journey throughout life on earth, the actions that result from what we believe, and the words that come from reading and soaking in God’s word. As we aim for godliness, let’s remind ourselves daily that we can’t do this through our own power or wisdom. Let us start our morning in God’s word and meditate on his truths throughout the day and end our day by thanking and praising God for his goodness, grace and guidance upon our lives.
