We all know that God sees everything and knows everything. But do we truly believe that?

It has been said that the values of the kingdom of God are upside down to that of the world. But it might be better for us to say that God’s way is “right side up,” and the world’s way is a corruption of the original purpose of God.

Anger management plans are useful in guiding you to choose positive alternatives to help you deescalate, like going for a walk, or listening to music. But in order for those behavior modifications to work, you need to first address the condition of your heart before God.

One motivational speaker once said that “You are the average of the five people you spent the most time with.” The idea that we must watch the company we keep did not originate with the self-help gurus of today, but comes straight from the pages of Scripture.

Weʻll continue to see the pattern in Proverbs of one option being far superior than the other. This is better than that. X is far superior to Y. The difficult part is making the choice.

Where do you find your trust, your satisfaction, your worth? In the riches of your possessions? The riches of your success? The riches of the approval of others? The riches of seemingly satisfying relationships?

Let us remember that while our possessions here on earth will eventually fade, break, or be forgotten, we have a treasure awaiting us in heaven “where moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves don’t break in and steal.”
