Our keiki ministry meets every Sunday morning during both services, for kids age 6 months to 9 years. Harbor Keiki has been designed specifically to reach kids’ minds and hearts.

Each week we seek to convey the truth of God’s Word to children in a fun, relevant, kid-friendly manner! We play and learn biblical truths through age-appropriate lessons, games, songs and crafts in four different groups: nursery, preschool, early elementary, & older elementary.

While your keiki engage with God’s word, they will unlock a deeper understanding of who God is and the love he has for them as well as a deeper understanding of who God created them to be as kids.

I serve in the nursery because it’s a great way to meet and know our church’s small children as well as their parents, especially those who I don’t get to see very often. Plus, it’s truly a blessing to watch these babies grow up, learn new things from the last time you saw them, play together, and pile onto your lap to hear you read a story!

Nursery teacher

For the past 3 years, I have had the privilege of teaching the gospel to our young yet mighty preschoolers. I never imagined how much I would be challenged in my own walk with Christ while striving to share His truths in simple ways at this teachable and fun age group! It’s so comforting to know that God’s word never returns back void as I trust that these nuggets of truth will be written on the hearts of these children and have an eternal impact on their lives.

Preschool Teacher

I love teaching elementary kids because I enjoy communicating big gospel truths to young hearts. I’m amazed by the honesty of the kids as they confess sins and share how Christ is working in their lives. Usually, the lessons and discussions end up challenging my own relationship with Christ, and I leave class feeling like the learner rather than the teacher. Engaging in the gospel with kids is a huge blessing to me.
