July 5 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am

We’re re-launching Sunday Morning Keiki Ministry starting on July 5 at both services! We’ll have nursery, preschool, and elementary classes. RSVP to reserve your kid’s spot at harborhonolulu.org/keiki.

If you have any questions or want to volunteer, email Cyndi.

HARBOR KEIKI SAFETY GUIDELINES
Based on recommendations from the CDC, Hawai’i Department of Health, and state licensing agencies for childcare providers, Harbor Church will be implementing the following new safety guidelines and policies for Keiki Ministry. As state regulations are updated, these safety policies may change to reflect the new guidelines and families will be immediately notified.
ELEMENTARY

Masks: Keiki in K-5th grade will wear a mask whenever at church.

Classes: Elementary aged classes will be broken down into two classes with no more than 12 students (K-2nd & 3rd-5th). Should there be a need, we will add a third class (K-1st, 2nd-3rd, & 4th-5th).
RSVP: All keiki will need to be registered for a class prior to Sunday morning here.  They will still need to check-in upon arriving at church to receive their name tag.
Bibles: Students will be required to bring their own bible to class.
Supplies: Any pens, pencils, and craft supplies used in class will be cleaned prior to use and in-between services before being used again.
Cleaning: All tables & class area will be wiped down & cleaned before church & in-between services. Students’ hands will be sanitized upon entering & exiting the Keiki area.
Elementary Teachers: All teachers will wear masks except while teaching their small group. (Due to the noise level in the Keiki class area, it may be difficult for the keiki to hear their teachers if wearing a mask while teaching). Their temperatures will be taken when they arrive at church and they may not have a temp above 100.3. They will also answer Harbor Church’s Covid-19 Health Screening Questionnaire each week. Teachers will sanitize their hands upon entering & exiting the Keiki area.
PRESCHOOL
Masks: Preschoolers will not be required to wear masks at church nor in their preschool class.
Classes: Preschool classes will be kept to no more than 12 keiki. In the future, the preschool class may be divided into two class areas to accommodate more keiki should there be a need for it.
RSVP: All preschoolers will need to be registered for a class prior to Sunday morning here. They will still need to check-in upon arriving at church to receive their name tag.
Supplies: Any crayons, markers, or craft supplies used in class will be cleaned prior to use and in-between services before used again.
Cleaning: All tables, surfaces, & toys will be cleaned before church & in-between services. Students’ hands will be sanitized upon entering & exiting the Preschool class. If a toy is placed in a preschoolers mouth, the toy will be immediately cleaned as well as their hands. If a child coughs or sneezes on a toy, it will also be immediately cleaned as well as the child’s hands.
reschool Teachers: All teachers will wear masks while keiki are in free play but will not wear masks while engaged in the teaching time. Teachers will sanitize their hands upon entering & exiting the preschool class.
NURSERY
Masks: Our little babies/toddlers in the nursery room will not be required to wear masks.
Classes: The nursery room will only be allowed to accept 12 children or less per service.
