- Read Proverbs 10:2-3. What are some ways you’ve been tempted in the past to pursue “ill-gotten gains” in your work?
- Read Proverbs 10:4. What discourages you from being diligent at work? What motivates you to be diligent?
- Read Proverbs 10:5. The impact of our work goes far beyond us – to our families, communities, and islands. How have you seen your work impact others (positively or negatively)?
- Read Proverbs 10:22. What kind of riches (material, relational, emotional, or spiritual) have you seen God give as a result of your work?
- Proverbs 22:29. says, “Do you see a person skilled in his work? He will stand in the presence of kings. He will not stand in the presence of the unknown.” You stand in the presence of the King of kings. What influence should that have on your work?

- Colossians 3:23-24 says, “Whatever you do, do it from the heart, as something done for the Lord and not for people, knowing that you will receive the reward of an inheritance from the Lord.
