Psalm 73 – God Of Grace
“But as for me, God’s presence is my good. I have made the Lord God my refuge, so I can tell about all you do.” (Psalms 73:28)
God will punish evil. That’s what Psalms 73 speaks to. The unfortunate reality is that as human beings everyone is guilty of rebellion against God. All of us have sinned in some way and because of that we are all deserving of God’s righteous judgement. But the good news is that God is not just a judge.
For everyone who puts their trust in God he is a refuge. Apart from God’s Grace his presence would absolutely destroy us. But because of His grace the psalmist can say, “God’s presence is my good.” The author of Hebrews says that because of Jesus we can enter God’s presence with boldness. So walk humbly knowing that you have sinned. But walk boldly knowing that in God is your refuge.
