Opportunities to Serve

We believe that one of the best ways to experience the fullness of life as a Christian is to serve others both inside the church and outside the church. There are many opportunities that we have to do both here at Harbor Church. Serving others is the way that God has allowed us to participate in his mission of expanding his kingdom and glory on the earth. If you are looking for an area to serve here are two possibilities.

Inside the Church: Setup/Teardown Ministry

This team is responsible for serving Harbor Church by setting up Liholiho Elementary for Sunday services and for assisting in the teardown of Liholiho after service. If you are interested in serving or just looking for more information please email me at christian@harborhawaii.org.

Outside the Church: Common Grace

This ministry matches up volunteers with a student at Liholiho Elementary. This ministry involves meeting with an at-risk kid at Liholiho School once a week and doing anything from playing games with the child to just having lunch with them. It is a great way to not only serve the school that we are meeting at, but also to impact in a positive way the life of a child and in some cases a family.
