Paul says in Philippians 1 that authentic love needs to include spiritual knowledge and discernment. The problem is that most Christians have a hard time discerning what discernment is all about. Does it mean disassociating yourself from people who don’t match your standard of holiness? Does it mean watching out for unbiblical ideas and shooting them down the moment you see them?
